As workers across the globe mark International Workers’ Day, the Executive Chairman of Delta State Internal Revenue Service, Hon. Chief Solomon Ighrakpata, has extended warm felicitations to workers in Delta State and Nigeria at large.
In his goodwill message, Hon. Ighrakpata described workers as the engine room of economic growth and nation-building. He lauded the commitment, sacrifice, and resilience of both public and private sector employees who, despite challenges, continue to drive productivity and development.
He specifically commended staff of the Delta State Internal Revenue Service for their professionalism and tireless efforts in boosting the state’s internally generated revenue, noting that their work remains critical to funding the M.O.R.E Agenda of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori.
“Workers are the backbone of every society. Your dedication keeps our economy running and our communities growing. On this Workers’ Day, I celebrate your strength and reaffirm our commitment to policies that improve welfare, create jobs opportunities, and reward hard workers,” Hon. Ighrakpata said.
He urged workers to remain steadfast and united, assuring them of government’s resolve to prioritize their wellbeing under the leadership of Governor Oborevwori and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Hon. Ighrakpata concluded by wishing all workers a peaceful celebration and a productive year ahead.
