The National Chairman/ Leader of the OSU Political Forum and Chairman of the Delta State Internal Revenue Service (DSIRS), Hon. Chief Solomon Ighrakpata, has joined the people of Okpe Kingdom and well-wishers across Nigeria in celebrating His Royal Majesty, Major General Felix Mujakperuo, CFR (Rtd), Orhue I, the Orodje of Okpe Kingdom and Chairman of the Delta State Traditional Rulers Council, on the occasion of his 20th coronation anniversary.
In a statement issued today in Warri, Hon. Ighrakpata described the monarch's two decades on the throne as a remarkable era of peace, unity, stability, and progress for the Okpe Kingdom.
He noted that under the leadership of Orhue I, the kingdom has experienced significant growth, strengthened traditional institutions, promoted cultural values, and fostered harmonious coexistence among its people.
He also commended the monarch's unwavering commitment to preserving the rich cultural heritage of the Okpe Nation while providing exemplary leadership as Chairman of the Delta State Traditional Rulers Council.
"Your Majesty's reign has been defined by wisdom, humility, courage, and selfless service.
"For twenty years, you have remained a symbol of unity, a father to all, and a dependable voice of peace and progress. Your leadership has continued to inspire confidence, strengthen our traditional institutions, and contribute immensely to the development of Okpe Kingdom and Delta State as a whole," Ighrakpata stated.
Hon. Ighrakpata also called on all sons and daughters of Okpe Kingdom, both at home and in the diaspora, to remain united in their support for the Orodje and to continue working together for the sustained peace, unity, and socio-economic development of the kingdom.
He congratulated His Royal Majesty on the historic milestone and wished him many more fruitful years of impactful and prosperous reign on the throne of his forebears.
He prayed that Almighty God would continue to bless the revered monarch with good health, divine wisdom, long life, and greater strength to continue leading the kingdom to even greater heights
