The Leader of the Okpe/Sapele/Uvwie Federal Constituency Political Forum, Hon. Chief Solomon Ighrakpata, has called on members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) across Delta Central Senatorial District to remain united and intensify grassroots mobilisation as the party prepares for the 2027 general elections.
Speaking during the Delta Central APC Stakeholders' Strategic Meeting held at the Petroleum Training Institute (PTI) Conference Centre, Effurun, Ighrakpata said the APC's greatest strength lies in its unity, discipline and shared commitment to securing victory for all the party's candidates in the forthcoming elections.
He expressed confidence that party leaders, stakeholders and members in Delta Central would remain steadfast in their resolve to deliver overwhelming support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, Senator Ede Dafinone and all other APC candidates in 2027.
According to him, the successful conduct of the party's congresses and primaries has further strengthened the APC, adding that now is the time for members to set aside every difference arising from the internal electoral process and work collectively towards building a more united, stronger and formidable party.
Ighrakpata also commended Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for his commitment to delivering people-centred projects across Delta State, noting that the administration's M.O.R.E Agenda has translated into visible infrastructure and development initiatives that continue to improve the lives of Deltans.
He said the governor's achievements have further strengthened public confidence in the APC and provided the party with a solid foundation on which to campaign ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Expressing optimism about the party's prospects, Ighrakpata stated that with sustained unity, effective organisation and robust grassroots mobilisation, the APC is well-positioned to record a resounding victory across Delta Central and the entire state in the 2027 polls.
