Sheriff Oborevwori has emerged as the flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress following the successful conduct of the party’s gubernatorial primary election in Otibio Ward 13, held at the Otor Igho Town Hall.
The primary election, which witnessed active participation of party faithful and stakeholders across the ward, was described as peaceful, transparent, and in line with the democratic principles of the APC.
The Isoko North Council Boss commended the orderly conduct of the exercise, noting that it reflected the party’s commitment to fairness, credibility, and internal democracy ahead of the forthcoming general election in Delta State and at the national level.
Speaking after participating in the exercise, Hon. Prince Godwin Ogorugba expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the primary, emphasizing that the process demonstrated the unity and strength of the APC at the grassroots level.
He noted that the successful completion of the exercise further reinforces the confidence of party members in the leadership structure of the party.
Hon. Prince Godwin Ogorugba also extended warm congratulations to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori on his emergence as the APC gubernatorial candidate in the primary election, describing the victory as a well-deserved recognition of the governor’s leadership qualities, political experience, and growing acceptance among party members and the people of Delta State.
According to him, the outcome of the primary election is a reflection of the overwhelming confidence reposed in the governor by party faithful and stakeholders, adding that the APC remains united and prepared for victory in the forthcoming general poll.
He further called on party members and supporters across Delta State to remain steadfast, committed, and united in order to ensure the party’s success at the general election.
